The price is fixed before we start
You get a written scope and a single figure before any work begins. If the build turns out to be harder than we judged, that is our problem and our cost — the number you agreed is the number you pay.
We absorb our own estimation errors, not you.
Half up front, half when it works
Fifty per cent to start the build and fifty per cent on delivery, once the system is live in your business and doing what the scope said it would. Not on handover of a document, and not on a milestone we mark ourselves.
Half our fee is at risk until the thing actually runs.
The questions the number raises
Including the two whose honest answers are unflattering, because being asked them on a call is worse than publishing them.
What actually moves the price?
Four things, in order of impact: how many processes have to talk to each other, how many of your existing systems we have to integrate with, whether it needs a voice agent (which costs more to build and more to run than chat or workflow automation), and whether it is one site or a group sharing one system. A single automation against one system is the £800 end; a multi-department build across several is the £15,000 end.
What is not included in the price?
Third-party costs you would pay anyway and we do not mark up: your OpenAI or model usage, WhatsApp Business API message fees, and any paid tool the build sits on top of. We tell you what those will run to before you commit, because they are the part of the bill that continues after we are done.
What if I want changes after it goes live?
Small changes during the support window — 30 to 90 days depending on the build — are included. After that they are either a care plan, which covers monitoring, fixes and a set amount of change each month, or ad-hoc work quoted the same way the build was. Nothing is locked: it is your system, in your accounts, and any competent automation developer can pick it up.
Is the £499 audit worth it if I already know what I want automated?
Probably not, and we will tell you that on the free call. The audit exists for businesses that can feel the time going but cannot point at where. If you can already name the process, book the call and we will scope the build directly — and if you have already paid for an audit, it comes off the build price in full within 30 days.
